Matariki day

In Matariki the nine stars come up at night to celebrate
matariki . Sometimes people have hungis too.
Matariki stats in June 25. Matariki is a star cluster not a constellation. You can see Matariki you self when it is dark.
Matariki is a star cluster nearest to earth. May or early June signals to beginning  of maori new year.cluster of stars also known of the Pleiades. It rises in mid winter for maori's it starts on a New Year., and a maori sign for celebration
